I am an active person in pretty decent shape, but the thought of running 26 miles and 385 yards makes my stomach cringe.

It must be an incredible accomplishment to complete such a daunting task. I for one, can not imagine doing it. My sister did it a couple years ago and I was amazed.

This'll be the first year since I moved to Boston that I won't be watching the marathon. Good luck to everyone who's running

I thought about doing it; started the Bill Rodgers workout regime, but never got past the beer.

I didn't qualify to run this year but, I was a volunteer. I worked the starting line and I got to meet Lance Armstrong. That guy is a freak of nature! I hope I can run it next year. Great job to everyone who ran!
