But I DO have to say I was HIGHLY irritated at the NEWX forum. I got a few pms from guys wanting to see a pic of me instead of my X. I hadn't reallized that while stepping into what I THOUGHT would be a great place to learn about my X....I accidentally stepped into Match.com. One guy even had the nerve to send a pic of himself AFTER I told him I was disinterested, not to mention in a relationship (which I KNOW is my last one.....he's a keeper). It was irritating and I'm thaknful that you guys are all either married, not retarded or have half a brain and don't act like <---this guy. You've all been a great help and I look forward to meeting you on the 3rd!!!

It is sad that you would run into such an environment at a board that is supposed to be about Xterras. Most men are pigs, no news there. It is unfortunate that in this day and age that someone would make a pass or whatever you youngins' call it these days at a female who owns they same type of vehicle, doesn't shy away from making a few racey comments in good humor and can hang with the boys!
Naturally, in their minds that it must turn into "she's cool, she's hot and available". Crude, but true in their minds. Stick to business on that board. Those who are getting out of line obviously can't handle openess. Sorry you were treated like that.

Pepper I'm glad you feel that way about us.We try to be a great club and make everyone (especially the females) feel comfortable..I can only imagine it be hard to feel good about being somewhere that the guys are only thinking with 1 brain and it's not the one in their head.

The comment you made is exaclty the type thing I wanna hear.I would never allow any of that stuff on here.If it was to happen and any of the female members felt uncomfortable then I'd ban the person doing it..

But I have trust in all these people on here and know that they wouldn't stoop to that low of a level.

Well, I AM cool, cute ("hot" left when I turned 30....5 years ago) and my guy wheels a Jeep (ie. UNavailable).


It's definitely a great site for informaiton. Of course, as you can tell I CAN be "open" and I love messing with you guys. I always have had guys around. I never really had many female friends cuz they stink usually!!! Guys rock....but I hate being taken the wrong way, just cuz I like to play.

Anyway. It's not like it was a horrible thing.....it just irritated me....and made me realize where I should be........
