where in CT is everyone from? just wondering seeing all of the CT plates. Im from west hartford in the winter and the summer im in mystic.

has anyone ever gone on the trails in hamden its near the river dont want to say to much on open forum.

working at Yale, my company had me living there in a SUPER apartment. Then, after
leaving there, I went to work at St Francis in W. Hartford and lived in Avon. I loved it.

As for wheeling in CT, there aren't too many legal places that I know of or have heard of. So, if you have a place that's legit in the region, I'm all for it.

Don't know of that one in Hamden.

Im in middletown CT... come out on a few runs with us sometime... there is one in a few weeks in long island ny

i would love to do the long island one but unfortunatly i cant. i switch places in the summer. ill post on the info. the place in hamden was actualy introduced to me by the service secretary? i guess dont know what they are called and she told me to go there. i havnt actualy been on all the trails. the pics where taken on those trails except for the big rock thats in cape cod. theres another grouping of trails in waterford too. ive been back there numerous times and never had problems but not sure on the legal part. the lady from the dealer said no one bothers them there and they are actual cut trails not just someone hacking them up.

If you aren't certain about the legality of being there, err on the side of caution and avoid the area until someone can confirm that the area is legal!

There is enough anti-offroad sentiment out there, and we've already lost a couple of trails very recently. I don't want to be giving anyone a reason to close off another potentially viable trail as well.

There are plenty of legal trails that have illegal offshoots (trails - also called trailbraiding) which appear to be legal trails because enough people have gone used them. A group of us just saw a whole bunch of them this past weekend.

The use of these illegal trails can and will lead to the closure of the legal parts.
