Hello everyone.
Got back late last night and thought I'd post up with the current situation. As most of you know, my dad has been through a couple of medical issues over the past few months. When I travelled to Florida back in November, we weren't in too bad of shape. The last incident involving a stay at a rehab facility has really caused both my parents to turn a major corner. I didn't realize how much until I saw them last week in N.J. I was shocked at how big a change has occured, unfortunately, not for the better.
So right now, I'm having to come to grips that their time left is more limited than we originally thought. The things that need to be done is overwhelming at the moment. I'm sad,
, angry as well as a host of other emotions right now. Working on a gettng a better grip on my emotions, etc.
I'm sorry to say that due to the rotation of our taking care of our parents, my next turn will fall on the weekend that "Recovery 101" is scheduled. I'm really upset about this as I'm the one who suggeted it in the first place and I need to go on a trail run real bad... I do not expect nor do I desire that anyone change this date I'm just frustrated with this whole situation at times, but I will not abandon my parents for my own pleasure...
